At Bell bank I was able to assist the design coordinator with product selections, floor plan drawings utilizing AutoCAD, strategic space planning and 3D interior renderings. I also gathered and complied information on employee locations and workstation types to better understand employee department needs.
As an interior designer at Monarch Homes I was able to oversee that all selections for the building process were made for spec homes and new client builds. Drawings were provided as needed for building accurate design features. I ensured that clients were aware of overages on any selections. Lighting layouts were provided and electrical walk-through’s were scheduled with the clients. I worked closely with the subcontractors to ensure a smooth and timely building schedule. Warranty items that needed to be taken care of for the homeowners were arranged and lined up accordingly.
B&D Flooring - Grafton, North Dakota
The summer of 2015 I was able to complete an internship with B&D Flooring located in Grafton, ND. During this internship I worked closely with clients to provide products and layouts that met the needs of their projects. I learned valuable information on different flooring products and applications, furniture, paint, mattresses, cabinets, and countertops.
